New Atomic Floyd AirJax Earphones

Atomic Floyd is a new company, braving the threat of recession and the economic downturn to venture into the audio technology business. The first major product they are releasing this December is the very fancy and very attractive AirJax Earphones. At £120 each they are also very expensive, but Atomic Floyd does claim to have made some unrivalled improvements to the audio headphone experience.
The AirJax Titanium2 earphones are aimed more towards audio clarity and high end performance, and they are made from what is called ‘acoustic steel’, which has been specially heat treated to produce the smoothest, purest sound.
Another major factor in these earphones is that they do not have sound isolation, meaning that although they deliver clear instrumentation and vocals, you can still be aware of the world around you, which makes them safer when you are listening to music out and about. These are beautifully designed earphones, but because they focus on the mid range audio spectrum, deep bass and percussion sounds can sometimes get a bit lost, so they are best used for listening to plenty of vocal and acoustic music.

******DO NOT PURCHASE A SET OF ATOMIC FLOYD’S*****
I purchased a set of earphones from the Atomic Floyd website in January.
Within 6 weeks the sound cut in and out from both speakers and I emailed Atomic Floyd requesting a refund.
The UK dispatcher initially replied stating that they normally offer replacements but for a refund he would have to check with the founder and come back to me.
After 3 weeks of me chasing for an update by email, I have heard no response.
This company are a joke and once they have your money, you are left with a set of earphones that will almost definitely break (due to the ‘cord to straight jack’ design).
Although the website suggests that they are a UK company (prices advertised in Sterling), they appear to be Hong Kong based and there is no ‘real’ customer support.
What a waste of £85
